I think Pakistan is really suffering
ReplyDeletemy name is hadleigh and this is part of my homework. in the summer holidays i went to visit my great grandma in liverpool, and we stayed there for the night. The next day we went to warick castle and i went in a dungeons!!!!! It was really scary!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteIn my summer holidays i went to a caravan site called skegness. We went to all diffrent places like diffrent restronts, new people and diffrent aacsents! We also visited some arcades that we dont have chance to play hear, a beach that we dont have many of hear and bingo wich there is not many plces to play it hear.
ReplyDeleteIn the holidays I went to Pakistan to meet my cousins,I had a lot of fun with them.
ReplyDeleteWe even went to see a famous oscean.
We went to a zoo and I got to sit on a horse and a camel. We went to Pakistan with our other cousins and came back with them.

ReplyDeletemy name is jack i went to weston-super-mare it was great and i loved it then i went to wokey hole it was great.after i went to brean leasuire park i went on the biggest ride there it`s like thorpe park.

ReplyDeletethe flooding in Pakistan and the forest fires in Russia are extremely worrying as it is caused by shocking weather which is natural and im greatful that we dont have this kind of weather in our country.I found the brazil article interesting as it seems that as many people are against building the dam as there are that want to build it.

I think pakistan and brazil is suffering alot.
ReplyDeleteThe flooding in Pakistan and the forest fires in Russia are very sad because their homes are getting destroyed and all their personal items are ruined,some of which can never be replaced.
ReplyDeleteBrazil Article was very interesting as lots of people are against building the dam but the president has know changed his mind.
It is really worrying that all these other places in the world have had such bad floods and fires where as hear in Watford we very rarely have any thing that bad.
ReplyDeleteerm ya I dont quite understand how a current of air can cause forrest fires, floods and landslides. Like I thought all that stuff happens cuz of like the possition of the moon and the possition of the stars.

ReplyDeletehi, I have just been viewing the website links and the storys are amazing thats why i like geography because it makes you aware of the different cultures all around us and makes us appretiate the special qualities of us and our coutry .I loved the video in the top link as it made me even more aware about climate change and the other things and changes that are going on in our world at the moment!

i went to ibiza in the holidays :) it was soo hott :)but when i got off the plane it was chucking it downn but thenn it brightened up :)
ReplyDeleteOh My God! All these things happened and I was busy playing on my PSP! I feel so sorry for both of the countries and like matt said in the video it is really hard for them to get back how they where before. Lucky that us lot in UK don't get flood often.

It's lovely to see that the Pakistan floods have touched so many of you- we are indeed very lucky to live in the UK. If anyone is interested in helping, why not suggest to your form tutor that you have a class cake sale or a sponsored silence? All these things do make a difference and don't take too much time to organise.
