Postcard Appeal!

Are you going away this summer? Do you have old postcards at home? If so, I need you!!

I am collecting any postcards you have to use to brighten up my room and they really do look fantastic! Unfortunately I cannot give them back but I will reward you with credits and it's much better than them just being thrown in the bin :)

Please bring them to Miss Hinde in E9 after the summer break.

Have a fantastic summer!

We are LIVE!!!

Dear readers,

This term has been absolutely manic and the Humanities teachers have been busily preparing for next term - I know you are thinking of the summer holidays!

This year has been very busy and lots has been happening! March saw a group of staff and students visit Auschwitz and Krakow, it was a truly inspirational visit and encouraged all of us to think about the atrocities that took place during WWII.

In May a group of teachers took 40 students to the Natural History Museum in London to learn about Earthquakes and Volcanoes, it was a fantastic day, but who would have thought we would see MR R in a pink, shiny jacket using a leaf blower?!

We have also helped form tutors complete a lesson on National Sports Week based on the olympic values. Our very own Mr S launched his own fitness campaign to raise money for Great Ormond Street and Cancer Research - he amazingly lost a stone in only a few weeks.

Finally we are pleased to announce the appointment of a new Humanities teacher who will be joining us in September.
Leave us your thoughts and comments,
Enjoy your summer.
